Welcome to TAG International Tennis Academy — Singapore’s leading tennis academy since 2001. This is the home of our academy journal, where we share coaching insight, programme news and answers to the questions parents and players ask us most. To open, here is a short introduction to who we are and how we can help you or your child start playing.

Coaching built on real playing credentials

TAG was founded by Coach XT (Tan Xu Teng) — a PTR Full Professional and NROC-registered coach whose career-high ITF Men’s 35+ World ranking of #56 is the highest by a Singaporean player. He is a 2019 Singapore Open doubles champion and Head Coach at Nanyang Girls’ High School and Hwa Chong Junior College. If you are searching for a top tennis coach Singapore players trust for high-performance work, his personal coaching site is the place to start.

Every coach on our team clears the same bar: a professional playing background or top-10 national record, plus recognised certification (PTR, USPTA, ITF or AATC). Our roster includes Coach Bo Alburo — ITF Men’s 35+ World #2 in singles and a nine-time Singapore Open champion — one of the highest-ranked veteran players in the world coaching here in Singapore.

Through our partner academy Sanwa X, students can also train with Japanese professionals Coach Kento Takeuchi (former ATP World #378 and an All Japan Champion) and Coach Wataru Ochi, who has coached players on the ATP and WTA tours.
